Temptrol™ Radiant Curtains

With rising energy concerns, maximizing energy efficiency while minimizing cost is vital. Using energy efficient windows to slow down heat can cost thousands of dollars and insulated curtains are bulky and difficult to maneuver. Temptrol™ brand fabric is a thin, lightweight fabric that will block heat from entering and exiting your house.

Working as a radiant barrier, it can block radiant heat in both directions while shading you from the hot sun. To make it more cosmetically appealing, Temptrol™ is white on one side, so it looks and fits well with traditional curtains. Temptrol™ fabric can be sewn on a regular sewing machine, or even heat seamed for a seamless appearance. When you add Temptrol™ as a curtain liner, you will feel the difference that radiant barrier makes without worrying about an industrial look.

Light colored fabrics, while resisting heat, allow light to pass through too easily. While typical blackout fabrics can impede light, they absorb more heat, adding to the energy problem. Temptrol™ blocks nearly all light while reflecting 95% of the radiant heat. Typical blackout curtains use a closed weave cloth, which does not provide adequate ventilation. This can leave your home feeling stuffy, even when your window is open. Temptrol™ is perforated, which allows a more natural breathability. These perforations can even prevent condensation and increase efficiency in heating.
